Porches at Exeter is a riverside pocket neighborhood with a high-spirited supper, sports and social club,The Bungalow Club, in its midst! A place for those who enjoy conversation, things to DO, being energetic and inquisitive in mind, body, activity and outlook. The common thread is the joy of conversation and connection.

FOUNDER'S LETTER

Greetings!

I have imagined and designed Porches at Exeter and The Bungalow Club to be a new kind of neighborhood . . . . the kind of place where I and other kindred spirits can live, work, play and thrive. It combines the best of New England tradition and history with the freshness of a California viewpoint, because these two regions are where I have spent most of my life and they are amazing places! I blend the best of both to create a unique neighborhood that has inspiring architecture and happy interior design coupled with front porches and front steps as gathering places, avenues for physical activity and enjoyment of the outdoors, a rich social life and easy access to art and music. AND someone to cook a healthy and delicious dinner in a beautiful dining room several nights a week! I hope you will join us as a homeowner or a Club member or both!

Cheers from Porches,
Kathleen Mahoney

WELCOME TO OUR THRIVE VILLAGE!

THE FEATURES OF A THRIVE VILLAGE

We are crafting a new kind of lifestyle neighborhood called a “thrive village.”

What is a thrive village, you may ask?

It’s a happening enclave for energetic adults who choose to live in an environment and lifestyle intentionally designed — through architecture, design, programs and attitude — for thriving.

THE FEATURES OF A THRIVE VILLAGE:

Small, cottage-style homes built close together (in Exeter our dwellings are cottage townhomes) each with a front porch.

Shared green space.

A central clubhouse that offers the following:

Healthy and delicious dinners prepared by a private chef, served in a handsome dining room

Physical activity, made easy and fun

Social connection – lots and lots of opportunities, structured and unstructured

Inspiring architecture and design of the physical spaces

Clubs within the Club – bike, kayak, snowshoe, cards, wine, painting, you name it

Laughter

Volunteerism

Easy access to and encouragement of the arts
